We like these challenges set by our campaign partners to Michael Gove on his school food review.  Children's Food Campaign said "Our challenge to Gove is, if the review points to the benefits of national food standards, properly applied and monitored in all schools including academies, will he act on that?".  Jamie Oliver said "I'm fairly confident that the gentlemen from Leon will end up pushing for the same things that I, and many other, have been pushing for years, but the question is, will Mr Gove listen?".  

The response from the DfE is not terribly encouraging saying that while Gove was "fully open" to suggestions, he was "prepared to look at them" rather than necessarily implement them all.  I guess we'll have to wait until 2013 to find out.
