Volunteering at School Food Matters

School Food Matters often relies on the work of volunteers.  The contribution of volunteers is always valuable to our small charity and work can include administrative tasks, research or support with our project work. Previous volunteers have researched and written content for our website, set up office systems, helped to develop our social networking skills, raised awareness of SFM at local farmers markets, supported us at events and during our project work.

We can offer limited expenses, if working five or more hours per day, up to a maximum of £6 for travel and £4 for food on production of receipts.

School Food Matters is only able to work with volunteers who are entitled to work in the UK and cannot assist with work permits or immigration issues.  You will be asked to complete a Volunteer's Questionnaire and supply references.

Positions are generally based at our offices in SW London.
