The Food Standards Agency has created guidence for schools, caterers and parents to help them understand the new regulations on allergens. From 13th December 2014, the Food Information for Consumers Regulation (EU FIC), will apply. It will change the way allergen information appears on labels and on food that is pre-packed, sold loose or served when you are eating out.
